Sustainability Philosophy

    With the main characteristics of “Teaching Excellence, First-Class Characteristics, and Excellence and Sustainability” and in response to the 2050 Net Zero Policy announced by the government, Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU), when entering the 70th anniversary of its foundation, set forth in its mid-term and long-term university affairs development plans for “Increasing International Involvement and Globalization”, the development strategy of “practicing sustainability and building a governance model”. Meanwhile, in March 2022, CYCU issued the “CYCU Sustainability Report” for the first time to disclose CYCU’s performance in fulfillment of social responsibility and university sustainable management, subject to the results and subsequent planning of the 17 indicators under the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) implemented by CYCU based on its holistic educational philosophy, providing advanced reference from all walks of life.
