Employee Salary and Benefits
Subject to Article 2 of the CYCU’s Regulations Governing Faculty’s Remuneration Criteria, and for full-time research assistants and postdoctoral research fellows hired under the study protocols supported by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science and Technology. The faculty’s remuneration criteria are primarily based on the faculty standard salary rules adopted by the government, CYCU Janitor Payroll Standard Table, and CYCU Full-Time Employees by Contract Payroll Standard Table. Among other things, the pay to full-time faculty is decided based on the standards adopted by public colleges/universities.
In 2022, to extend appreciation for the faculty’s contribution and in response to the government’s raise policy, CYCU has simultaneously granted a raise of 4% for teachers, civil servants, and military personnel as of January 1, 2022, and the base pay and allowances were also raised. The resolution made in line with the raise for teachers, civil servants, and military personnel has encouraged employees greatly!

Employee Health and Safety
CYCU provides faculty with a healthy and safe working environment. Based on the holistic education philosophy, related practices adopted by CYCU are stated as following:
I. Health Management and Health Promotion
Subject to the “Occupational Safety and Health Act” and “Labor Health Protection Rules”. For employee health management, CYCU performs employee health checkups each year and adopts a scope of checkups superior to that prescribed by laws and regulations.
II. Spirit Counseling
CYCU is a Christian university founded out of Jesus Christ’s love for the world. Since February 2020, CYCU began promoting “Christian Belief-Oriented Spiritual Counseling” to provide services to its faculty and students.


III. Prayer
To relieve the faculty from work pressure, CYCU aims to provide both the faculty and students with a working environment that pursues spiritual stability.

Grievance Mechanism
I. Grievances by the Faculty:
May be filed with CYCU’s “Teacher Grievances Committee” in accordance with the
“Directions for Organization and Review of Teacher Grievances Committee”.
II. Grievances by Staff and Janitors:
May be filed in accordance with the “Enforcement Rules of Staff and Janitor Grievances
Committee”.
III. Grievances by Students:
May be filed with CYCU pursuant to the “Student Grievance Regulations”.
