Enterprise Transformation Counseling

    CYCU’s Executive Operation Office for Industry-Academia Cooperation uses its best effort to integrate industry-academia resources and strategic partnership networks at home and abroad and provides customized incubation counseling services to help entrepreneurial teams consisting of teachers and students link various resources and global markets, and integrates its smart machine industry-academia research momentum with respect to industrial innovation and upgrading, industry 4.0 smart counseling and professional talent training to encourage teachers and students to start businesses and help regional manufacturers with intelligent upgrading and innovation.
    In recent years, to promote enterprise’s sustainable development, the green economy became one of the counseling characteristics, and the world worked together to achieve the carbon reduction target, improve the production efficiency of small-sized and medium-sized enterprises, and mitigate waste of energy. With abundant industry-academia R&D momentum, in response to the R&D centers of various departments/colleges of CYCU, cross-domain resource platforms, counseling for the development of digital services by small-sized and medium-sized enterprises, R&D of green innovative products, implementation of smart services and addition of the green supply chain, the Office integrates system and new business models to improve the utilization of resources and encourages small-sized and medium-sized enterprises to adopt sustainable design services and products by recycling resources to achieve the goals for R&D of green power and energy conservation and carbon reduction. Meanwhile, it also provides counseling services to student teams in green sustainability philosophy and design ideas, helps venture capital teams apply for entrepreneurial projects with governments, encourages them to combine the 17 SDGs of the United Nations, conceives green sustainability themes, works together to promote human beings’ prosperity and life quality, and moves forward toward sustainable development and the green economy.

    CYCU works with multiple industrial teams supporting green environmental protection, social enterprises, and eco-friendly materials, etc. Notwithstanding, CYCU will continue to invest capital in guiding venture capital teams to develop green innovative products and smart service systems, assist in matching industry partners and angel capital, and invest capital in industrial market verification and correction, develop sustainable businesses, expand regional industrial upgrading, assist the implementation of venture capital smart services into traditional industries, and encourage students to develop green cycle issues.

Industry-Academia Projects

    To promote sustainable economic development and boost the green economy, CYCU executed the “Industry Park Industrial Counseling Innovation Project” of the Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Industry-academia projects with enterprises that CYCU assisted and counseled in response to SGDs primarily include:
(a) Promote industrial upgrading and the green economy by paying visits to local

     manufacturers.
(b) Provide local manufacturers with power consumption detection and analysis services,

     improve energy control and utilization efficiency, and advocate energy conservation and 

     sustainability.

    The CYCU R&D Center for Membrane Technology and the technology team from the Department of Environmental Engineering provides a presentation for green economy-related technology.

Promote water and heat recovery and reuse technology in membrane centers

    The technology team from the Department of Electrical Engineering of CYCU assists manufacturers in planning the distribution of power consumption time, reduce power consumption and electricity bills, and effectively manage and maintain power consumption for production and operations to reduce the product cost and improve the competitiveness of product price.
